Our office in Washington represents the CNRS in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
The actions undertaken by the CNRS office are linked to both the CNRS’ strategic plan and the priorities of the ten CNRS institutes.
Inserm reinforces scientific relations between the United States and France by pursuing three objectives : assuring an institutional presence for French scientists in the United States, strengthening scientific collaborations and giving them an institutional backing, and developing a process for the reciprocal relay of information between France and the United States.
CNES has long wished to bolster relations with NASA and diverse institutional and industrial players in the American space sector by establishing a permanent office in the United States. This office exists within the Office of Science and Technology at the Embassy of France. More information.
