ELIGIBILITY
- Candidates must be currently working on their Ph.D. or have received
it in the past three years.
- Candidates must be U.S. citizens, and must receive their
Ph.D. from an American university.
- Candidates must obtain a letter of invitation from a French laboratory
before applying.

All application materials are due by the deadline which applies to applications (year 1).
- The internship in France must begin between September 1 of the year 2 of candidacy and March 31
of year 3.

- Contact a French laboratory that might have ties to your university, your laboratory or one
of your professors.
- You may consult the list of
French Research Institutions or the
list of proposals submitted to the French embassy by some laboratories.
