	Introduction Guidelines Application FAQ Contact us ELIGIBILITY Candidates must be currently working on their Ph.D. Candidates do not have to be U.S. citizens, but they must be enrolled in an American university and they cannot be a French citizen. Candidates must obtain a letter of recommandation from their advisors in the US and a letter of invitation from a French professor employed in a French university or a research institution. The fellowship begins between September 15- October 15 of the fellowship year and lasts nine months. All application materials are due on December 15th for the following fellowship year. CALENDAR : Application submission by December 15th. Selection process from January to February Decision : during March.
